To begin exploring ways the feature could be improved, I started out by gathering existing data, asking some questions and making assumptions based on the data.

To begin exploring ways the feature could be improved, I started out by gathering existing data, asking some questions and making assumptions based on the data.

Having all these questions and assumptions led me to research Femtasy users; finding out why they used the platform, their pain points, expectations and user needs.

I collated app reviews from Google and Apple play stores, reddit groups and customer support tickets and feature requests, all of which I then synthesized to draw insights.

Brainstorming Solutions

Brainstorming Solutions

The problem identified required a solution that helped users find and organize their audios, but we also wanted to create a solution that drove conversion as well. This led me to explore some of the ideas below before settling on the last solution.

Sketching & Wireframing

Sketching & Wireframing

Once I settled on an approach to solve the problem, I began sketching flows and frames keeping in mind that the final designs would be based on Femtasy's design system.

This helped me determine what visual elements would be incorporated and accessibility considerations to consider.

Testing & Iteration

Testing & Iteration

Validating the success of this feature would require usability tests, gathering continuous feedback and tracking the data I started with at the beginning of the study, i.e, the user engagement rates for trial & subscribed users and conversion rates after feature interaction.
